  • ALS Hope Foundation PO Box 40777 Philadelphia, PA 19107 (map)

The ALS Hope Foundation will be offering a special educational opportunity, the ALS Clinical Research Learning Institute (CRLI®), on March 15-16, 2024. The CRLI is an intensive 2 day program dedicated to educating attendees on the clinical research process, therapy development, the treatment landscape and advocacy in order to  empower this group to be advocates for ALS clinical research. This program was conceived by Dr. Richard Bedlack through collaboration with the Northeast ALS (NEALS) Consortium including 5 previous Philadelphia programs through the ALS Hope Foundation. People living with ALS along with their caregivers are invited to participate in this program and graduate as "Research Ambassadors" and ALS advocates.

Learn more about the program on the NEALS website.

Read an article on the CRLI, ALS clinical research learning institutes (ALS-CRLI): empowering people with ALS to be research ambassadors.

People living with ALS (PALS), Caregivers of people with ALS (CALS), and surviving family members are encouraged to apply. All PALS are invited to attend with one caregiver.

The application can be found here. Please submit your application to Jamey Piggott at jamey@alshopefoundation.org.
