Mara Nissley, Communications and Events Manager
Mara Nissley graduated from Arcadia University in 2014. Since graduating, she has been involved in several organizations but her dream has always been to work in a non-profit setting. She honors her Grandfather, who passed away from ALS in 2000, and hopes her contributions to ALS Hope Foundation can help find a cure for this devastating disease. As the Communications and Events Manager for ALS Hope Foundation, Mara works closely with Dr. Heiman- Patterson and the Foundation Team to organize events and fundraisers, update the Foundation’s social media accounts, and act as Foundation liaison for PALS and their families at the MDA/ALS Center of Hope. In her spare time, Mara volunteers with the State Theatre Players, a local theatre group in her hometown, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
