Our partners at Hope Loves Company are putting together an amazing resource and space to support families whose lives have been touched by ALS. 🩷💙 Beyond the Bunk Hangout is a free monthly virtual space for kids and teens impacted by ALS to connect in community and find genuine support. These year-round sessions are guided by educated and trusted professionals, including trained Child Life Specialists, certified caregiving consultants, and mental health professionals. Drawing on lived ALS experience and specialized training in grief and trauma, our team provides a safe and supportive environment for age-appropriate conversations and activities focused on emotional wellness. The 19th Annual Hope Walks for ALS Family Day is back for another year of raising awareness and funds for the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). After 32 years of service, we are wishing Sara Feldman, DPT, ATP, well as she enters a new chapter: Retirement! Recently, several members of our MDA/ALS Center of Hope clinic team met with SWIK representatives to learn more about their product! SWIK’s novel product fits comfortably in the mouth and works continuously to manage oral secretions for up to 12 hours. 🔆 Our team at the Center of Hope is familiar with the challenges that people living with ALS and their families face, and is always looking for more solutions to support them! 💙💛

The ALS Hope Foundation had the opportunity to be part of the LG4 Day with the New York Mets. The amazing Permobil Foundation honored a MDA ALS Center of Hope person living with ALS their own customized power wheel chair. They had the incredible privilege to go down on the field to see it for first time with their favorite player, Francisco Lindor . We were also fortunate to have other Center of Hope families there along with pALS from ALS United Greater New York Her ALS Story, Project Main St. I AM ALS and, of course, Live Like Lou Foundation . We are truly humbled to be a part of 4 LGDays and see that the vision that pALS and families have the opportunity to be together and raise awareness. Just getting started! Thanks to Larry Kaplan for creating memories for so many!
