October 20-24, 2025 is Medical Assistants Recognition Week! Thank you to all of the MAs at the MDA/ALS Center of Hope! We appreciate YOU!

The ALS Hope Foundation has been chosen as a beneficiary for this year's Kiss Hate Goodbye community-wide event! Kiss Hate Goodbye is a community-driven organization dedicated to promoting unity, acceptance, and respect while taking a firm stand against all forms of hate. This event will focus on reaching out to anyone and everyone who wants to shout out to the world that disagreeing on issues, social or political, is ok and encouraged. However, spewing hate in any form or fashion will not be tolerated. This cause is not just a project but a mission that requires collective effort and sustained support to bring about real change. #kisshategoodbye

It is truly amazing when a community comes together to honor and remember a special individual. Today’s Hike for Mike did just that. The weather held up so everyone could share in the day and the warmth of the people certainly helped! Thank you to everyone who joined in celebrating the memory of Michael Walp and to family and friends who made the day happen. The money raised will directly impact and help those living with ALS. #youareenough

The NEALS Annual Meeting was held this past week in Clearwater! The week began with the CRLI program, Outcome Measures Training, and committee meetings. #alsresearchmatters #alsresearchambassadors #als The next session began with a recap of the past 30 years, then moved on to presentations and posters (including @temple_neuro and @end_the_legacy) with updates on clinical trials & studies as well as a look to the future.
